ANOTHER US-224 - VAN WERT DECATUR

Another two vehicle accident occurred at US224 and Van Wert Decatur Roads, At 8:56 pm a westbound US-224 vehicle attempted to turn left onto Van Wert Decatur Road in front of a van that was eastbound on US-224.

The Car attempting to turn onto Van Wert Decatur Rd ended up still in the west bound lane of US-224. The driver of the van was transported to Ohio Health Van Wert. His van ended up on the east side of the road in the grass with heavy front end damage.

The other operator declined treatment at the scene. Vehicles were towed from the scene by 2 A's and Superior Collision.

The investigation was by the VW County Sheriff's Department. Traffic control on VW Decatur Rd by the Ohio State Patrol.
